About Hurst Lodge Dance School

Students from the community are welcome to join our evening dance classes, where they will dance alongside students who attend Hurst Lodge full time.

We have an excellent team of dance staff and we are also lucky to have a number of professional artistes affiliated to the school who carry out workshops which Hurst Lodge Dance School pupils are invited to join.

Exam sessions are offered twice a year for those pupils wishing to take part, however this is not compulsory.

Dance shows are produced every two years and are performed either in our own theatre or at other venues.  These give wonderful opportunities for pupils to gain confidence and experience.  Participation is encouraged but not compulsory.
