Drama

Overview

Drama is an integral part of learning and creativity. At Hurst Lodge we believe that Drama is a vital tool in delivering a well rounded education. Students who benefit from creative enrichment are more confident, more outgoing and happier as people because they get to express them selves and their feelings in a secure environment. They also get to show people how good they are at what they do. The discipline that is required to create good work is immense. Focus, commitment and quality of presentation are key factors in our department as are understanding and evaluation of the journey.

If your child chooses a drama path through our school she will work with dedicated professionals that are passionate about the subject. There will frequently be extra rehearsals and homework outside of school time and a large commitment will be expected of each student. The goal is to make the best performers possible.
