Parents Evenings

Details of Parents Evenings are displayed on the Term Dates - Calendar Dates page of the website.  Parents evenings happen approximately twice a year.  Students are encouraged to attend with their parents.  If parents can not attend students are encouraged to come by themselves or ask the Principal to accompany them.

Those parents who wish to discuss their child in further detail may make an appointment to see the relevant members of staff or the child’s personal or form tutor.  The staff are happy to see parents and will seek to make the appointment as soon as possible after the request has been made.

Parents are welcome to drop in on the off chance the member of staff is free.  They are encouraged to understand however that staff may not be able to see them immediately.  Personal tutors are always happy to telephone parents to discuss issues.

Staff wishing to see parents, should approach the personal or form tutor first before contacting the parent.  This ensures that they are fully in the picture of what is happening at home before they telephone to arrange a meeting.
