Admissions

To enter Hurst Lodge, please send for a Registration Form.  This should be completed and returned along with a £50 registration fee to the Registrar.  You will then be placed on the waiting list.

Kindergarten - (Aged rising 3 - 4+)

Children on the waiting list will be offered available places on a first come first served basis. 

Years 1-6 - (Aged 4+-10+)

Available places are offered after a child has spent the day.  In some cases places will be offered on the strength of a school report where a student is unable to attend for the day.

Senior School - Year 7-13 (Aged 10+-18)

At 11+ Students enter ther Senior School.  They are split into two groups for English, Maths and Science.   Every student will have a form teacher, and a personal tutor who will monitor them throughout the senior school.

All candidates must be registered with the school before entry.

Year 7

All students hoping for a place in year 7 (internal and external candidates) must take placing papers, a report from each candidate's school will be part of the assessment process.

Year 8 & 9

Entry is on the strength of the school report.

Year 10 – GCSE

Entry is dependant on a school report and Option Choices.

Year 11

Students are accepted into Year 11.  However, as they are already half way through their examination courses we feel it important that we can accommodate their requirements and are working with similar examination boards.

Year 12

Entry into the 6th form is by school report.  Students should usually have a pass in the subject they wish to take at A/S Level.  In some cases prior knowledge of a subject is not required and applicants should seek guidance from the Registrar.

Those girls wishing to apply for scholarship should advise the Registrar accordingly.
