School Fees 2010-2011

Prices are per term (GBP)

The Registration Fee:

This is payable with application and is a non refundable, once only administrative charge of £50.00.

Acceptance Deposit:

This deposit is payable on acceptance of a place.  Half is credited against the first term’s fees; the other half will be retained against charges incurred in the last term of a pupil’s attendance, any balance being returned later to parents.  The deposit is non refundable in the event of an accepted place not being taken up.  For Day students the deposit is £600.  For UK based boarding students the deposit is £1,000, overseas boarding students £2,000.  It is the policy of the school to ensure that we are in-funds for all foreseeable contingencies in relation to pupils from overseas.

Notice:

A full term’s notice in writing is required before the removal of a pupil or the giving up of an extra subject.  Failing such notice full fees in lieu will be charged.  Notice must be received by noon on the first day of term.

Scholarships & Bursaries:

Please see Scholarships section for more details: These are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+.  There is a reduction in for children of HM Forces.

Payment of Fees:

Fees are payable termly in advance and are due by the first day of term. They may be paid directly into the schools bank account – Barclays Bank, Sort Code 20-02-53, Account no. 20800694

Fees may be paid monthly if preferred; a leaflet is available from the Bursar giving details of the monthly payment scheme managed by Holmwoods Termtime Collections on behalf of the School.

The Directors hope to be able to keep the fees at this level for the following three terms (the current school year) as has been the custom.
